Ok, this made me laugh. I wasn’t a fan of Final Fantasy Spirits Within - but this did make it all awesome.

Such a good book. Full of wisdom that even people who are naysayers of the Bible can appreciate.

But have you ever really tried to LIVE verses like these? You have someone in mind, I’m sure, who bugs the crap out of you. Always doing things to trip you up. You greatly dislike them. But here, in Proverbs, it says to be nice to them! EVEN THOUGH THEY SUCK!

But, I’ve learned something from a previous job. There was an employee who always seemed to try and make me look bad, or boss me around or just act like they where better than me. Rather than getting even, I tried my hardest to be nice, do things that would be considerate and just be friendly. It was more of a challenge to God and His Word than anything else.

“Ok God, here is a good opportunity to see if Your Word is correct!” I’m sure I said to myself.

A few months of this past. Not much change. But suddenly, almost out of the blue, we were laughing together! That person was going around to erands with me and defending me against others and being very friendly! I was amazing!

Of course, I didn’t stop being nice - but it shows that hey .. it does work for the most part. Give it a try. It won’t be an over night success - but mostly things that are don’t last anyway.

So my son was singing ‘Jesus Loves Me’ and we caught it on ‘film’. And I’m posting it here. Because I can.

and was going to make a graphic novel. Well, time has past and I really haven’t worked on this at all.

I’m about to start this project again. I’ve been struggling with some things, maybe you fine people can help me out. You see, I want to do a full graphic novel, but that aspect seems more daunting than anything else. I played with some ideas using 3D or edited photographs … but every idea seemed to be WAY out of my league or time frame. I had a slew of ideas - even having a good friend help me do a commercial to promote it when it was ready to roll ..

Well, here I am - months later - and the story has been burning a hole in my brain. I have to get it out. But I don’t know what medium would be best. Graphic novel? Illustrated story? Novel?

I also considered doing this all with open source software like Blender3D, MakeHuman and Gimp - as well as OpenOffice. Interesting prospect, I know. But again, very daunting.

So, what do you fine folks think?

Ready?

I’m all about getting $1600. If the government wants to throw money around, hey - I’ll catch all I can! They tax the snot out of us as it is. However, the federal debt is what … $250 billion dollars? Is this a WISE move? Why not just lower the taxes rather than throwing billions of more money out there? And while I’m not going to sneeze at $1600, would it really make a huge dent in the economic crisis that the US is currently facing? Not likely. It makes the government look good .. for the moment. But I promise this - they’ll start complaining about the debt again. It will be Bush’s fault (though both polical parties are all on board). Taxes will go up.

And for you conspiracy theorists: Who does the US owe all this cash to? Answer: Banks. So, what ‘collateral’, I wonder, have they placed for all this debt and loans and such? Think any of the politicians are signing their homes, cars and everything else away so you can get extra returns on your taxes? Psh no. I really do wonder … is this how the US falls apart? Not with war, but with debt? Does the UN ’swoop’ in and take over the USA - not with bombs but with contracts and banking deals? Really .. I wonder.
