Holy crap - a liger. Now, it sounds like the cheap Napoleon Dynomitehumor going on here, but they actually cross breed a Lion and a Tiger. This thing is freakin HUGE.
Cool .. but they’re askin for a heap of pain if that cat realizes it’s potential.
“Hey I have a cool idea! We don’t have enough predators in the world! Lets get two of the biggest together and cross breed! YES!”
For sure– it’s totally true & they’ve been crossbreeding them for years… The only thing is that–like mules (crossbreeds of horses and donkeys)– they’re sterile. We won’t have a ton of ligers taking over the wilderness…
But - as stated by Jeff Goldblum in ‘Jurassic Park’ - Nature adapts. While I don’t believe in total evolution - when people screw around with things they shouldn’t they open up evolutionary crap that screws EVERYTHING up.
