Politics are a stink fish game
Politics - I hate them. Really and sincerily do. It’s one of those ‘necessary evils’ of the world to keep all in reletive check.
However, sometimes I wonder if it really matters - if the world really knows what it wants.
For instance, I was reading this article: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23137096/ - and a few key things came to mind.
Mostly through the word usage they’re playing McCain very high, and kind of giving Huckabee the overall feeling of a ‘nosy, in the way, crazy Christian’ feel. They consistently use the terms to very solidly plant in the minds of the readers (who are reportedly mostly non-Christian) that Huckabee is basically a pastor trying for the presidency. Yes, he is an ordained Baptist minister. True. But what does that really matter in the end? Is his policies good? Does he have a good vision for the future?
Then, they continually throw the terms “Vietnam Prisoner of War” around when talking about McCain and how he pretty much is the Republican candidate. Basically they’re doing the same thing they always do: spin the story so that people see a particular way. Huckabee isn’t running over McCain, but he’s not out of the race. However, even in stories that are suppose to be related and ‘for’ Huckabee, MSNBC talks about how McCain is destroying Huckabee - even though it’s Huckabee’s news feed.
Sen. John McCain of Arizona won the Republican presidential primaries Tuesday in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia, according to NBC projections, tamping down an unexpectedly tough challenge from former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.
This was the top story. Doesn’t spin a positive light on Huckabee. Does it.
I don’t know who I’m voting for, but it’s clear that the news people are pushing McCain foremost. I’m curious who will win out for the Democrats. It looks like the media is starting to favor Obama. Which, is good … the Clinton Force unnerve me.

I honestly don’t like any of them. I’m a registered Republican, but McCain isn’t exactly my ideal guy - and no way on Billary. And as far as Obama goes, I’ve read a not of good and a lot of bad, so he’s not exactly top of my list either.
