on Feb 19th, 2008msnliststatus.com - Fraud!

I have a friend who’s been spamming me a few times a day with a link to msnliststatus.com via my MSN IM account.

This site claims to be able to tell who has blocked your account.

Let me tell you right now - it’s a fraud. Any site that requires a password to your account is just going to steal you entire account.

If you do this you’ll be hijacked and your account stolen.

If your friend is hijacked than he or she is already locked out of their own account and you might as well delete and block them.

Sucks, doesn’t it?

rofl its like the borg…once one of your friends is taken you have to cut all ties. That’s the problem with shared services…and noticed this happen to a friend through clan hosting. If everyone shares the same service provider and its bugged, bad things can happen.

    Absolutely.

But really, it’s from people not using common sense and handing out their passwords to 3rd party websites without thinking about it. Rule of thumb: Never give your username and password for anything to anyone. Period.
