So I was traveling to work this fine day (no, it’s not fine - it’s dang cold!) and looked at the local gas station to realize - holy crap! Gas is $3.33!! For the lowest priced unleaded mind you. This is insane! Why must the gas companies continue to scalp the people? And who gives a rats can if Europe is sitting at 4EU a gallon or whatever. They can keep it and complain on their own time. I am also sick of the “It’s all President Bush’s fault. He’s raising the price so he can retire fat and happy”. I got news for you, no former president needs the money. They have a nice stipend when they ‘retire’. They definitely are not going to hurt. Not only that, they right books, go and make speeches at colleges and so forth and get paid a heck of a lot of money. Former President Bill Clinton gets paid somewhere around $400,000 for a fifteen minute talk. And he does these all the time. I mean, what the crap - do you really want this guy at your graduation?

On the other hand (regarding gas prices) I do think it’s kind of cool that the price is the same as the Green Jelly record with the same name. But that may just be me. I liked their first CD, Cereal Killer, a lot better. Though the sexual innuendos and mild language could go, who can say no to a hard rock version of ‘Three Little Pigs’?

Finally, I watched the movie Transformers for the third or forth time this weekend. I very much enjoy it - though a few characters I could care less for. Such as Jazz and the whorish chick, Mikaela. I did think it was awesome that Peter Cullan, the original voice of Optimus Prime, was in it. Also, Hugo Weaving was Megatron.
