I know people who started with Blender hate anything otherwise (particularly Max) but since I started in Max and I'm used to that interface it's hard for me to really get the feel for the Blender GUI. I do think that Blender is a better piece of software than Max, which is why I'm trying so hard to use it. Max is great - don't get me wrong - but it has a lot of inabilities that other programs have. Yeah.
