Wow!
Did you know I started this WordPress site over 9 months ago? I’m pretty amazed by that fact! I love blogging! Much better than those social network clowns like MySpace. Though I admit, I have a MySpace account, Xanga account and a Facebook account. But I only use them to tell people I know to come here and read the stuff here.
So I’ve posted over 100 posts. I get 50 - 100 unique hits a day. I have over 500 spiders (noun - a computer program that automatically retrieves Web pages for use by search engines. [LINK]) hit my site a day. About 200 RSS feed readers (or sites) pull my content a day. While it’s not like Blender Nation who just announced it’s 1,500th post (well, 1,502 - but as Bart points out it didn’t have the same flair) it is pretty good … for me.
I now have a new feature to the site: free desktop wallpapers. I’ll be releasing these every Wednesday as time and material allow. I already have downloads ready for the next 3 weeks. So enjoy that!
