That’s right! By the grace of God my new computer is now running nice, smoothly and HOLY SNOT FAST! It’s amazing what a really good (yet girly looking) fan and heatsink will do for an overheating computer. My system is now staying at a 28 degree Celsius even while gaming … so I’m extremely happy about that!

So, here are the specs:

Processor:
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs)
Memory:
4096 MB RAM
Hard Drive:
750 GB
Video Card:
NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT
Monitor:
SONY CPD-G400/G400J
Sound Card:
Realtek HD Audio output
M-Audio Audiophile 2496
Speakers/Headphones:
Sony MDR-V600
Keyboard:
Logitech G15
Mouse:
Logitech USB Wheel Mouse
Mouse Surface: A mouse pad
Operating System:
Windows XP Pro

Heck .. yes .. it’s awesome.

So, I’ve just realized that I love to tell stories. So far, I’ve only told them to myself. Acted them out in my head, sometimes talking them out. But I’ve never really written them down. I’ve not had the chance, or motivation. How does one go about writing books or short stories or epic trilogies when you have a full life?

I used to play a game during my lunch break called Rappelz. Free, MMORPG that was a pleasant distraction from my daily grind. However, I think I know what I should do. I should pop a nice sound score in my computer, throw on my headphones and write for an hour. Or forty-five minutes. However long I have after I eat. Every day, I should write. Work on a story. Character development. Whatever it takes to get something out of my head. I’ve have ideas coming and going and coming back again for years, yet I’ve never had the time, motivation and perhaps the courage to actually get them out.

I’ll be starting with a few darker themed stories. Demons, monsters and the like. Nothing like the horror genre, but more adventure and thriller action feeling where you’re transported from the comfortable and familiar world of today into something that’s is far from your standard element.

No idea what story exactly I’ll start with. I’d love to do a graphic novel, but I think it may end up being just a regular, boring old story.
