Today I turn in my finals. I probably won’t have them done by the time this actually is posted (I’m writing on an earlier day) but I know I’ll have them done by the end of Sunday for sure.
Fiasco. That’s what this whole school experience feels like. I’m sure I just slipped through some cracks, but man - I haven’t had the best of times.
See, I’m attending the University of Phoenix Online for an Associates in Information Technology/Visual Communication. I’ve been doing this for over a year now. I’ve had about four different consolers. Three different accidemic consolers. I’m suppose to get regular calls from my consolers to insure everything is going well. I barely get contacted. I’ve had some pretty rude teachers (one of which called be a bigot when asked our opinion on homosexuality - you don’t want my thoughts, don’t ask the question).
So I don’t have a high opinion of the school. Just went through a huge deal with their system losing my math final causing me to fail the class. But thing get worked out. I hate the whole ’squeaky wheel’ thing, but it does work. Sadly.
If you ask me about the University of Phoenix - don’t expect a glowing review. I have had some good teachers who seemed to actually be for me and not against me. So that’s a good thing. And I’ll have my Associates this fall, so that also is awesome. But man - I won’t be going back there again!
