The Low Polygon Lake

The Low Polygon Lake

The digital water slaps against the polygon shore. The i-seagulls vocalize over head, calling for their coded fish. Their robotic trill of “mine mine mine” plays over and over.

It almost feels … real … this fake world. But alas, it’s but a dream. Even though the wind feels cool, and the leaves in the lumpy trees rustle, the quality is just not quite … real. An abstract mockery of creation. Yet, you can’t help but sit on the unreal bench, just a little long. Soaking in the lie of a sun.
